Mia Casey

  • President's Executive Assistant and Director for Presidential Initiatives and Events

Mia Casey has served Baylor University since 2009 and has been part of the President’s Office since 2016.  She currently serves as the President’s Executive Assistant and the Director for Presidential Initiatives and Events, connecting people, ideas, and experiences to the university’s leadership in meaningful and strategic ways.

In her role, Mia oversees the President’s day-to-day operations, including her schedule, travel, and speaking engagements, ensuring thoughtful coordination of priorities for President Livingstone.  Mia leads the planning and execution of events hosted by the President’s Office and collaborates with internal and external partners to create impactful opportunities for engagement.  She also provides administrative support to the First Gentleman, Brad Livingstone, and oversees household operations related to their on-campus residence, the Allbritton House. 

Mia serves as the primary point of contact for all matters involving President Livingstone and the First Gent, including scheduling requests, speaking engagements, events, and collaborative initiatives, among others.

Mia holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and an MBA from Baylor.  She is a member of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Presidential Assistants in Higher Education (NAPAHE) and serves as Chair of the Professional Development Committee.  Originally from the Dallas area, she resides in Waco with her two dogs, Millie and Eleanor.
