Tiffany Hogue
Chief of Staff to the President

Tiffany Hogue has served as chief of staff to the president since 2021. Prior to joining the Office of the President, she was a clinical professor of higher education and policy. She also served for 13 years in the Office of the Provost, first as assistant provost and then as chief of staff. In those roles, she helped lead the two-year campus-wide strategic planning process that resulted in Pro Futuris. She also led Baylor's 2007 reaffirmation of SACSCOC accreditation and established the Office of Institutional Effectiveness. She also served as assistant dean of academics for the College of Arts & Sciences in the early 2000s.
Ms. Hogue earned a BA in political science from Baylor and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center. She returned to Baylor after practicing employment law at Gallagher & Kennedy, a large firm in Phoenix, Arizona. She is an active member of the State Bar of Texas with expertise in higher education and the law. She is a member of the Board for Greater Waco Legal Services and the founder of the Girls' Running Club at Hillcrest PDS Elementary School. She is a distance runner and has run 20 marathons.
She and her husband, Andy, who serves as associate dean for engaged learning in the College of Arts & Sciences at Baylor, have two teenage daughters: Anna and Caroline. They are active members of Calvary Baptist Church in Waco.
