2020-2021 Conversation Series

A strong voice for the role of faith-based institutions in American higher education, President Linda A. Livingstone, Ph.D., hosts a number of events on campus and beyond as part of the Baylor Conversation Series.

Ranging from explorations of the role of civil discourse in today’s society to the importance of Christian leadership in higher education, the President’s Baylor Conversation Series brings together accomplished Baylor faculty members, nationally renowned speakers and experts from other colleges and universities for discussions that get to the heart of vital topics and reflect Baylor's commitment to serving as a marketplace of ideas within a caring, Christian community.

Perspectives on Our History - March 16, 2021

In this third and final Conversation in our three-part series, President Linda A. Livingstone, Ph.D. will be joined by Board of Regents Chair Mark Rountree and the three co-chairs of the Commission on Historic Campus Representations to discuss the connections between slavery and Baylor University’s founding and the Commission's work to fulfill its charge to provide recommendations for how best to communicate and reflect the complete history of Baylor University.
