Baylor Conversation Series Online
Wednesday, July 8, 2020
3:30 p.m. CDT
In a continuation of "Our Responsibility as Christians to Elevate Conversations on Race, Peacemaking and Conciliation," a Baylor Conversation Series online event held on June 24, faculty panelists answered many of the questions submitted from the 24th as well as ones asked during this event. Join our distinguished faculty guests for more on how we must take actionable steps to offer the grace and peace of Christ to all people, engage in current events, build upon our actions to date and elevate difficult, uncomfortable but important conversations regarding race, privilege, violence and conciliation in America.
Baylor University President Linda A. Livingstone, Ph.D., will moderate the Q&A with:
- Mia Moody-Ramirez. Ph.D., Professor and Chair, Journalism, Public Relations and New Media, and nationally recognized author and expert on race and culture
- Malcolm Foley, Special Advisor to the President for Equity and Campus Engagement and Director of the Black Church Studies Program at Truett Seminary
- Greg Garrett, Ph.D., Professor, Department of English, author and leading voice on religion and culture
