Baylor University Set to Host Collegiate Day of Prayer

February 16, 2024

Dear Baylor Parents:

As you may know, Baylor University is blessed to serve as the originating site for the 2024 Collegiate Day of Prayer, broadcasting live from the historic Waco Hall on the Baylor campus on Thursday, February 29 at 7 p.m. CT.

The Collegiate Day of Prayer, which started in 1823, has developed into an evening worship and prayer service focused on college-aged students, traditionally held on a university campus and live-streamed around the world. We are humbled to be a conduit for Christians from around the state of Texas, the nation and the world to connect in prayer this year, and we look forward to showcasing the beautiful diversity of the Kingdom of God in this global moment.

I want to share with you that we have reserved Waco Hall primarily for students, and although the event is free, they do need a ticket for admission. Students may obtain tickets through Baylor campus ministries or participating local church college ministries. If seats remain, a limited number of tickets may also be available through the student’s ticketing account.

As a parent, we encourage you to participate in the Collegiate Day of Prayer by watching the live stream from Waco Hall and joining in prayer for our college students. On the day of the broadcast, the live stream will be available on our Collegiate Day of Prayer webpage, Baylor’s official Facebook page and our YouTube channel.

We are honored to have the Collegiate Day of Prayer on our campus, and we are asking God to bless our students, parents and all members of the Baylor Family in the days and weeks ahead.

Sincerely,

Linda A. Livingstone, Ph.D.
President
